Hello...and welcome to my food blog. Although I've been blogging for the past few years, cooking took a back seat as I was so much into nature photography and pottering around my small garden here in Guwahati, Assam. And it was hard to get away from the computer!!!
It's such a pleasure to eat what you grow! One of my harvests from last summer.
 But the food shows on nearly every channel changed all that! I had to cook, and I knew I had to start a food blog. Growing up in India's north east, in the pretty town of Haflong, we had food from our own tribal cuisine as well as the flavours of all things Indian. I belong to the Dimasa community so from time to time I'll be sharing recipes from our cuisine too.

 Baking gives me joy and a well-spent afternoon would be baking a delicious pie or a savoury tart. The list grows longer as I am forever inspired by the most tempting images that food bloggers have posted on the world wide web. With my blog I'm looking forward to a lot of interaction from other food bloggers and hoping to learn all the trade secrets as I go on this culinary journey:)
